Make haircuts last longer

A few extra weeks between cuts adds up.

4 min read

Haircuts are often the biggest single item in a beauty budget. Stretching the time between them is an easy saving.

Ideas

  • Ask your stylist for a cut that grows out well
  • Book a quick fringe or neck trim between full cuts, if your salon offers it
  • Go a little shorter than usual at each cut
  • Protect ends with gentle brushing and less heat styling

Do the math

A $45 cut every 8 weeks costs about $293 a year. Every 10 weeks, it's about $234.
